Local is an app for people to easily find, share, and explore local spots in their area. Its purpose serves to help people discover small adventures near their local town or city, that might not pop up right away when searching “things to do near me”. 

The app is targeted towards low-maintenance people who enjoy the simpler things in life and want to explore the area around them with little or no cost. Many of the featured places involve nature and outdoors, without being a guide to hikes and trails. Benefits of using the app are to explore some lesser known spots and areas around you (and to share your favorite local spots with others).
